Data deletion

How to ask

Email praful@bundlebay.in with the subject line Data deletion request, and tell us:

• Your name, and the property or business you are writing about.
• The email address, phone number, Facebook Page or Instagram account the data is associated with.
• Whether you want everything deleted, or only a particular part.

If you would rather do it by phone, call +91 93101 17437. We will confirm the request in writing so there is a record of what was asked for.

We will ask you to confirm the request from an address or number we already hold for you. That is not an obstacle: it stops somebody else deleting your data by asking for it.

What gets deleted

Enquiries from this website. Your message and the contact details you sent with it.

StayLoop account data. The property profile, the assets you supplied, the content produced for you, the enquiry records held on your behalf, and the user accounts of your staff.

Connected Facebook and Instagram data. Everything retrieved from your connected accounts — media, post records and insight figures — together with the stored access tokens, so no further access is possible.

Disconnecting is separate, and faster

To stop StayLoop accessing your Facebook or Instagram account immediately, without waiting for a deletion request to be processed, remove it from your own account settings:

• Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → remove StayLoop.
• Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → remove StayLoop.
• Business portfolio: Business settings → Integrations → Connected apps → remove StayLoop.

Removing the app revokes its access at once. It does not by itself delete data already held, so send the deletion request as well if that is what you want.

How long it takes

We acknowledge a request within three working days and complete the deletion within thirty days. Backups roll over on their own schedule, so a copy may persist in an encrypted backup for a short period after that; those backups are not used for anything else and are overwritten in the ordinary course.

When it is done we will tell you in writing what was deleted.

What we may have to keep

Where the law requires a record to be retained — tax and accounting records of an actual transaction, for example — we keep that record and nothing more, and we will tell you what it is and why. It is not used for any other purpose.

If you are a guest of a property

If you contacted a hotel or resort and your details reached us through StayLoop, that record belongs to the property rather than to us — they decided to collect it and we hold it for them. Write to us anyway at praful@bundlebay.in and we will pass the request to the property and follow their instruction, or you can contact the property directly.
